Director Needed Video of Conference

Attorney Clarence Richardson hired me because he needed a video of all the speakers of the conference. That meant that this project required 7 videos: one video per speaker, and one promotional video. This is an example of using your resources efficiently. I recorded the entire conference over eight hours, and I got a free lunch!. Rather than delivering only one video, I could splice it to deliver multiple videos. If you ever hire a videographer to record an event or even a scripted short video, the editor can always cut it into many videos that you can then use for short clips on social media.

What Clarence needed was the short-form promo as a way to announce on social media that he had six other videos (which I edited, complete with the actual PowerPoint presentations for higher quality). If anyone wanted one or more of those videos, they could contact him to purchase them. So, the promo was designed to make the conference look exciting and informative. He needed large text headers on the screen that showed the topics. Those text headers had fancy, 3D animations. I also gave him multiple versions with different music tracks. He picked the cinematic one you hear in the final video.
